Our Story – How It All Began

Sometimes life leads to surprising twists – and that’s how GING IT was born. I am Arnulf Dominik, the founder and managing director of GING IT, and I would like to tell you the somewhat crazy but incredibly exciting story of how an innovative business idea emerged from a pandemic-induced crisis.

During the pandemic, our real estate business came to a complete halt. No viewings, no clients - everything was at a standstill. But instead of burying my head in the sand, I had an idea: How could I still bring a smile to our clients' faces and maintain our connection with them?

The solution was as simple as it was brilliant: handmade ginger shots. Instead of sending out ordinary business cards, I decided to mail these little bottles to our clients, each with a QR code linking to our real estate projects. The surprise was huge - but not in the way I expected. Suddenly, the properties became secondary. What truly excited our clients were the ginger shots themselves!

From Ginger Shot to the "Healthy Business Card"

This unexpected success sparked a new, exciting idea: organic drinks as a "healthy business card"—an innovative concept in the B2B sector. Whether as a giveaway, employee benefit, or welcome drink, our handmade, organic-certified shots offer companies of all sizes the opportunity to leave a lasting impression.

A small shot – a big impact. Our products are not only refreshing and healthy, but they also carry a clear message: it's not just about business, it's about well-being. This is how GING IT was born – a brand that makes a difference by combining health, style, and individuality.

The Path to International Expansion – A Valuable Learning Experience

We are especially proud of our first international order on a cold afternoon during the Christmas season. It was an exciting moment: Our gifts at the time consisted of 3 shots in a paper bag with the customer's logo—completely personalized and unique. But the excitement quickly turned to disappointment when we started packing. We soon realized that this type of gift was nearly impossible to ship without the bags getting crumpled or torn. A gift that doesn’t arrive as we envisioned? That was unacceptable for us!

And so, we learned and evolved. The simple paper bags turned into elegant, well-thought-out packaging: luxury boxes with embossing, stylish countertop displays, and practical magnetic boxes—all carefully designed and crafted in collaboration with local businesses in our area.

We are especially proud of our collaboration with ABC, an integrative company with a social mission that assembles all our packaging and partially prepares it for shipping. With great attention to detail and dedication, the employees ensure that every package is perfect. This way, the first impression our "healthy business card" makes is always unforgettable.
