How it started

My name is Arnulf Sorgo, founder of GING IT GmbH, and I would like to share how I came to establish GING IT. Since 1997, I have been self-employed in the real estate industry. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, we were unable to market our real estate projects in person and had to come up with new ways to attract potential customers. For years, I had been an enthusiastic consumer of ginger drinks that I bought at the local market in Klagenfurt. This sparked the idea to combine the “healthy” with the “useful.”

Instead of sending emails to clients, I had a few hundred ginger shots (then still sticks with 45ml) filled with fresh ginger and sent them to prospective real estate clients. We attached hang tags with QR codes to the sticks, which led to our real estate website. I thought, this way, we can pamper our clients with a “sip of health” and at the same time draw attention to our real estate website. And behold – the phones started ringing, and email inquiries came in. However, not just because of our real estate, but also because of our ginger shots.

Thus, GING IT was born, and the idea of the “healthy business card” came to life. Since then, we have specialized in distributing high-quality organic ginger drinks and now have a large customer base that also uses our “little lucky charms” as “business cards” to give their clients an energy boost. Our clients include banks, insurance companies, lawyers, and many other service providers and companies who want to give back to their clients and do something good for them.

GING IT was a hit at trade fairs as a giveaway and was often consumed within a few hours. In office spaces during the “World Women’s Day,” our shots brought smiles to the faces of the gifted women. At yoga events, our shots were THE energy booster. At hockey games, VIP clients were cheered on with our “Original Ginger Shot,” and even on trips with well-known athletes across Europe, GING IT products and gifts were “above the clouds” – always as a companion and a small thank you for customers, business partners, and fans.

Our product range has steadily expanded. We now offer a wide selection in the gift sector and can realize individual design options (branding) for our customers. We are constantly developing new ideas and have never compromised on quality. “No compromise in quality” is and remains our motto. This is why it didn’t take long for many end consumers to notice us and enjoy our shots at home or on the go – GING IT is always there, and the little 30ml shots fit into any backpack or handbag.

Our products stand for the highest quality. Health and lifestyle are our standards. Ginger and turmeric are known for their healing properties and fit perfectly into our concept. With every shot, we aim to give our customers the ultimate freshness kick – true to our motto: “A great day is just a sip away.
